Adapting to the socially distanced world, both the Vermont Employee Ownership Center (VEOC) and the Ohio Employee Ownership Center (OEOC) have moved their annual conferences online.

The VEOC's conference will occur first, on Tuesday, August 18, from 8:30 am to 5 p.m. eastern time. The full day of sessions will be conducted via Microsoft Teams, with hosting and coordination help from the University of Vermont, and will include more than a dozen workshops and a keynote from Namaste Solar. In addition, those in the Burlington area will be able to meet at an outdoor, covered area of Switchback Brewing to safely network after the conference. The OEOC's conference will take place two days later on Thursday, August 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. eastern time. Hosted via the same platform as our 2020 Annual Conference earlier this year, the OEOC's conference will feature more than 20 sessions on a wide variety of employee ownership topics, including one featuring the NCEO's very own Nancy Wiefek and Nate Nicholson. The virtual conference will also continue the tradition of the Annual Ohio Employee Ownership Awards.
