Health Care ESOP Work Group

Sharing ideas and best practices to promote employee ownership in the health care/human services industries

Mission

The mission of the Health Care ESOP Work Group is to provide a forum for sharing ideas and best practices to promote employee ownership for companies in the health care/human services industries.

Membership

Membership is open to any ESOP company in the health care, human services or special education industries, broadly defined. To join the group, a company must be a member in good standing with NCEO.

Company Representatives

Members may be represented in the Group by their CEOs or CFOs.  In addition, members may invite one other leader from their company to a particular session, depending on the topics.

Meetings

Meetings will be held in person twice per year, typically at the NCEO Annual Conference and at the Fall Forum. Meetings will be held online two other times per year, between the in-person sessions. Attendance will be limited to twenty participants, give or take.

Steering Committee

A Steering Committee will be designated that will be responsible for setting criteria for membership, scheduling the meetings, and vetting the topics for discussion.

Reporting

Once per year, the Steering Committee will report to NCEO on the activities of the Group.

Fees

There is no fee for membership in the Group, though active NCEO membership is required to join. Not an NCEO member? Join today to receive this among other benefits.
