The First 100 Days of the NCEOX Initiative
It has been just over 100 days since the Employee Ownership Expansion Network and the National Center for Employee Ownership announced the official collaboration of our organizations at the NCEO conference in Kansas City. Some highlights of the first 100 days of our joint work include:
- Filing 2 foundation grant proposals for joint work in the promotion, education, and research of employee ownership.
- Creation of State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) resources and webinars.
- EOX support for the extensive update (soon to be released!) of the NCEO publication "Who Should Own Your Business After You," to include information on all forms of employee ownership.
- Creation and cross-promotion of state center events.
- Stronger direct connections among the organizations' websites and resources.
- Weekly joint executive staff collaboration meetings.
The employee ownership message needs to get to more people, and with the NCEO and EOX working together, we're making progress to keep expanding both the audience and reach of employee ownership.
