MSP Membership Mixer: An Evening in Review

The NCEO’s first Membership Mixer was held on August 15 at employee-owned Hell’s Kitchen in downtown Minneapolis.

We were fortunate to host attendees from employee-owned companies across the state and from several different industries, as well as professionals from the Minnesota Center for Employee Ownership and some of our service providers.

I had the honor of networking with these folks among the cheery lights of the Minnesota Room—lit yellow and blue in honor of the NCEO—and am thrilled to say the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Discussions included comparing financial strategies and diversification, sociocracy and employee ownership, how to approach employee communication, and more.

The employee ownership community always shows up for each other, an inspiring testament to some of the values of ESOPs, EOTs, and other forms of employee ownership. Thanks to our talented Events team for orchestrating and executing this meeting, thank you to those who attended, and here’s to more of these gatherings in the future!
