Andy Manchir

Andy is a director in Katz, Sapper & Miller's Valuation and ESOP Services Groups. Andy helps clients understand the value of their business and advises them on succession planning options, including ESOP, third-party sales, or family transitions. He has extensive experience with feasibility studies for business owners considering an ESOP, ESOP structuring and financing, and valuations and opinions needed for ESOP formations, updates, and terminations. Additionally, Andy has performed business valuations for several other purposes, including valuations for estate and gift, mergers and acquisitions, and litigation support. He is an active member of the NCEO and the ESOP Association (TEA) and serves on TEA's Valuation Advisory Committee. Andy is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA), an ASA (Accredited Senior Appraiser), and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).

Anthony Kaufman

Tony Kaufman is a Commercial Sales Manager for First Merchants Bank and manages a team of five bankers.  Mr. Kaufman joined First Merchants Bank in 2014 after spending nearly 10 years at a larger, regional Bank in central Indiana. He utilizes this experience to bring his clients a unique mix of sophisticated credit structuring in conjunction with the support of local decision-making and delivery at First Merchants Bank. Mr. Kaufman has experience in a wide range of industries throughout the Midwest and has also developed unique expertise in advising and lending to ESOP-owned companies as well. Mr. Kaufman earned his Bachelor's degree in Economics from DePauw University and a Masters in Entrepreneurship and Finance from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. Mr. Kaufman is a board member of Junior Achievement of Central Indiana and the Central Indiana Police Foundation (CIPF).  He is also an active member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), The National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO), and the ESOP Association.

Zach Kubly is a director in Katz, Sapper & Miller,s Business Advisory Group. Experienced in federal and state tax matters, Zach works with clients in a wide range of industries, including agriculture, manufacturing, distribution, and transportation. Zach helps clients minimize tax liabilities and plan for future opportunities. He provides consulting services to clients of various sizes “ from small businesses to large corporations “ and equips them with the advice they need to make timely, accurate, and educated business decisions. Prior to joining KSM, Zach spent six years at a Big Four firm serving midsized companies and five years with local firms working with small businesses and their closely held owners.
